About Sharpe Reservation

Owned by the Fresh Air Fund, Sharpe Reservation has over 2,000 acres of beautiful land with lakes, ponds, streams, and hiking trails through the woods. It hosts the Fresh Air Fund's camps each summer, and close to 18,000 people from community and school groups in the tristate area participating in environmental educational programs during the rest of the year.

The Moy family has a long history with Sharpe Reservation, having lived on the property for over 40 years. Along with living there, each member of the family has also worked at "the camp": Marsha in the kitchens when she was in graduate school and as a teacher-naturalist when she was on maternity leave, Meagan as a camp counselor, Julie at the Fresh Air Farm, and John for over 40 years, retiring as Director of Sharpe Reservation. Our wedding will be at Camp Mariah, one of five campgrounds on the property.

Getting to Sharpe Reservation

Sharpe Reservation is located at 436 Van Wyck Lake Road, Fishkill, NY 12524. Once on Sharpe Reservation there will be plenty of signs to Camp Mariah.

If you are coming from New York City, you can take the Hudson Line train from Grand Central Station to Beacon. It is then a 15 minute taxi/Uber from Beacon Station to Sharpe Reservation.

Please email us if you have any questions.
